How do I sum up 2 full months of my life? The honest truth is- I can't due to severe memory loss is, and that's probably good for all of you, because I highly doubt you want to know exactly what happened in the 2 months following my last entry. However, I'll give you a brief update so I can feel like I accomplished something with this entry:

I'll start by saying this has been my busiest summer ever with work + travel + flute camp. I think I've only had about 3 mornings this whole summer that I've been able to sleep in as long as I've wanted to.

I went to Europe a while back: Amsterdam, Switzerland, and Paris. 'Twas amazing. The main thing I got out of the trip: America is a cultureless wasteland. Just so you know, you're not liable to give me any crap for that until you've been to said places.

Flute camp ended today. It was exhausting, but I suppose I learned a lot. How can you not after playing flute from noon to 7 for six consecutive days? On the other hand, I've had to slow down on guitar, but I should have a bit more time for it from here on end.

Sorry for not posting anything. I don't know what happened; my only excuse is this: the grueling heat has dried up all my creative writing juices, and I'm left with this worthless heap in my head that can't even produce one worthy piece of literature or art. Quite depressing. As soon as I can find time, I'm planning on locking myself in a small, dark room to maybe, hopefully, get it churning again.

As I mentioned, it is unnaturally hot here. In fact, my rabbit nearly had a heatstroke, and he's living in the kitchen for the time being. And to make it worse, my mom and stepfather are refusing to get the AC fixed cause it's too expensive, so I'm stuck here sweating without a fan until like 3 AM when it kinda starts to get a little cooler.

I'm missing everyone like crazy, and, surprisingly enough, I'm kinda sorta missing school. Well, I guess that's all I have to say (pshht, nice job being brief), except happy 4th of July tomorrow, and I hope everyone's having a great summer!
